Kosmopolito Hotels International Limited (KHI) has appointed Chui Yue Bond as Chief Financial Officer effective 10th October 2011.

Chui will be based in KHI's Hong Kong corporate office. Chui will assume the leadership in overseeing the corporate and operational finance, tax, treasury, investor relations and risk management for KHI Group and its hotel properties. He will be responsible for developing long- and short-term strategies as well as the financial operating model with a specific focus on financial maximization and efficiency.

Chui's background includes 15 years of international experience in financial risk management, strategic and financial planning, as well as mergers and acquisitions expertise from leading global organisations across Asia Pacific and North America. 

Before joining KHI, Chui was the Regional Vice President, Finance & Strategic Planning of Pricoa Relocation Hong Kong Limited, the APAC division of Prudential Real Estate & Relocation Services Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Prudential Finance, Inc., a United States based  corporation listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining PRU, Chui held senior appointments in leading international professional services firms such as Deloitte Consulting (Hong Kong) Limited, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and Ernst & Young LLP in Toronto, Canada.

Chui holds B. Sc and MBA Degrees from University of Toronto, Canada.

He is a qualified CPA from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Chartered Accountant from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.  He is also a CFA Charter-holder from CFA Institute, and a Certified Internal Auditor from Institute of Internal Auditors in the U.S.

KHI owns and manages 4 key hotel brands in different market segments - upscale Grand Dorsett, Boutique Series by Kosmopolito, midscale business hotel Dorsett Regency and good value hotel Silka.
