iYogi, a global direct to consumer and small business remote computer tech support provider, has appointed Joy Basu as the CFO. As CFO,  Basu will be part of the Global Executive Management team at a time when the company is emerging as the fastest growing provider of remote technical support.

 

Prior to joining iYogi, Basu was CFO of Rediff.com India Limited. He comes with a rich background in management of public companies and has wide experience in corporate governance, SEC compliance, capital raising, investor relations, operational and risk management, mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Rediff, he has held senior position in the Sterlite, Tata and RPG Groups.

 

Basu is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, a British Chevening scholar and has been awarded the Indian CFO Award 2006 for ‘Excellence in Finance in an SME’ instituted by IMA.
