A Disciplinary Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants has penalised Ho Sin Yee for forging the signatures of auditors in the auditors' reports of eleven companies, some for two consecutive years.
She was found guilty of dishonourable conduct and on 30 March 2011, reprimanded and ordered her to pay to the Institute a penalty of HK$40,000. In addition, Ms. Ho was ordered to pay the costs of the disciplinary proceedings amounting to HK$33,525.
