The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited has appointed Doug Lui as General Manager, Audit & Risk Management, effective 2 August 2010.

 

Lui has over 17 years of experience in finance and compliance. Prior to this appointment, he was Head of Audit and Risk Management with Johnson Electric International. He is also a member of several professional bodies, including the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Internal Auditors, the Global Association of Risk Professionals and Risk Management Association.

 

Lui graduated from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada with a Bachelor of Business Administration. His career path has taken him to Hong Kong, USA, Europe, Asia and Canada, working for SAP, IndyMac Bancorp, Vivendi Universal, Universal Studios Group, Seagrams Universal as well as Ernst & Young.
