Chunghwa Telecom appoints Shu Yeh as CFO

Chunghwa Telecom, a Taiwanese telecom service provider, has announced that Dr. Joseph Shieh will step down from his position as chief financial officer (CFO) and will continue to serve exclusively as the chairman of Chunghwa Investment, a subsidiary of Chunghwa. With Shieh's departure, Dr. Shu Yeh, who has served as an independent director since 15 June 2007, has been appointed as the CFO of Chunghwa Telecom.

 

Yeh is currently a professor of Accounting at National Taiwan University. He holds a PhD degree in Accounting from the University of California - Los Angeles and was an assistant professor in Florida International University. Yeh has over 19 years of in-depth experience in the fields of accounting, finance and capital markets.
