2012, May 22 Appetite from abroad for investing in China is picking up as foreign direct investment in China rose 18.9% in September compared to the year-earlier month, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Citing figures from the Ministry of Commerce, the newspaper writes that China attracted $7.899 billion of foreign direct investment in September. The Journal adds that September's rise was the second monthly increase in China's foreign investment on a year-on-year basis, after 10 months of investment declines.
