Bernd Euler Replaces Jeff Connolly at Siemens North East Asia and China

Bernd Euler has assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer Siemens North East Asia and Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Siemens Ltd., China, succeeding Jeff Connolly who will take the position of Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Australia.

 

Euler started his career in 1971 as a Management Trainee in the former Siemens Power Engineering Group in Nuremberg. When afterwards studying Business Administration at the University of Mannheim, he worked as a temporary Student Employee at the Regional Siemens-Office in Mannheim. In 1977 he returned to the Siemens Power Engineering Group and was appointed Team Head of Business Administration for Mining, Iron & Steel and Electrochemistry Department.

 

After holding various positions in the Siemens Business Administration, Euler took over responsibility for the Business Planning and Financial Analysis of Siemems Energy & Automation in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. in 1988.

 

Three years later he became Head of Business Administration of the Iron and Steel, Industrial Networks, Cement, Electrochemistry Department of the former Siemens Industrial and Building Systems Group in Erlangen. He was entrusted with a sequence of management positions before being appointed Member of the Group Executive Management of the former Industrial Solutions and Services Group, Erlangen, in 2001.

 

Since 2008 he has been working as Executive Vice President and CFO of the Siemens Regional Organization Germany, located in Berlin.
