2012, Feb 09 Exporters across Asia are riding high on an export boom as worldwide consumer demand begins to pick up pace, says the Straits Times, noting that economies across the region are shipping out increased volumes of cars, electronics and commodities.
The Times says that in April Japan's exports leaped 40% and Singapore posted a 30% jump over the previous year. Over in Hong Kong, overseas sales surged to 21.7%.
