Acer Recruits Eva Ho as the New CFO

Acer Inc. has appointed Eva Ho as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and spokesperson of Acer Inc., effective on March 1, 2012.

 

Ho has abundant expertise in financial management and global financial operations. Her experience includes having worked for Oracle as director of Finance & Administration, Sun Microsystems as finance director of Greater China, Arrow Electronics Inc. as regional finance director, and Testrite Group as group CFO & EVP.

 

Simultaneously, Lilia Wang will be relieved of her duties as acting CFO of Acer Inc, while retaining her current positions as Global Controller and acting EMEA CFO. Wang will hand over the CFO responsibilities to Ho by the end of March.

 

Born in 1958, Ho graduated from National Taiwan University majoring in economics. She obtained her Master's degree in accounting at the University of Denver in Colorado, USA and holds a USA Certified Public Accountant license.
