ABB India Ltd. faced a big challenge: manage governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) for 10,000 users across 14 countries in South Asia.

The task was even greater because heterogeneous systems had sprung up over the years – each with differing access controls, custom modifications, a lack of uniformity in roles and authorization procedures, and no integration with the company’s regionwide SAP® landscape. ABB India solved the issue by implementing the SAP GRC Access Control application (now known as the SAP BusinessObjects™ Access Control application). It successfully completed the project with the help of SAP Consulting and its SAP Global Delivery group.
